The Grammar school of Václav Beneš Třebízský in Slaný decided to join this celebration as well, so during the Days of Japanese Culture in Slaný they will focus their lessons on Japan.

On Thursday 11th April 2002 the Chairman of the town and the representatives of MEAC will plant a sacura tree as a symbol of Czech-Japanese friendship in the square below the Modletický house.
